The Publishing Unit was established in 2003 and later evolved into Penerbit UMT in 2007. With over two decades of experience, Penerbit UMT has matured in producing quality titles that benefit readers from various backgrounds. In line with the vibrant national publishing ecosystem, Penerbit UMT also publishes children’s books and popular titles while maintaining scholarly value in every publication.
In addition to academic books, Penerbit UMT manages the publication of six major journals indexed at both national and international levels. These journals compile research articles in the fields of science, mathematics, maritime studies, social sciences, and management.
